How do I get to the resort?
You will want to fly into Puerto Plata (POP). It is about a 30min ride from the airport. You MUST submit your airport pick-up form 14 days in advance in order to receive free transportation. If you do not have your form submitted by then, you may need to arrange your own transportation.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, there is a 4 night minimum on all accommodations.
What is the price for sit down restaurants?
There is no additional fee for the sit down restaurants (e.g. VIP Gourmet, Jazz, etc…). These are included with your All-Inclusive. However, guests do not currently have access to Azul, Saffron, and Ocean restaurants.
How many times can we eat at restaurants, are there any restrictions?
There are no restrictions on your guest agreement, however the resort may limit the number of times you can eat at any one restaurant so all guests can have the chance to dine there.
Are there any other fees?
There are no hidden fees or taxes paid to us or the resort. You are responsible for the price of the accommodation and All-Inclusive through us. Any other costs (e.g. flights, excursions, tips, shopping) are your responsibility.
What is the golf cart policy?
We GUARANTEE a golf cart for the duration of your stay in a villa if you so choose. Golf carts typically seat 4. There is a small cost associated with it ($10/day or $50/week; any days over 7 is $7/day). Should you NOT receive a golf cart and requested it, you will receive a complete refund PLUS $25. There is a refundable $100 cash deposit required by the resort upon acceptance of the cart keys.
Are the accommodation costs per person?
No, the accommodation costs are per accommodation type no matter the number of persons in your group. The only cost that is per person is the All-Inclusive.
Example: If you have 6 adults staying a week in a 3 bedroom villa, the cost for the villa will be $1,195 plus $700/person. So a total of $5,395 for the week, or ~$900/adult for the week.
What are my airport transportation options?
If you have submitted your airport pick-up form at least 14 days prior to your trip, transportation from POP is free and is typically a passenger van provided by the resort.
There are taxis at a cost available at the airport if you did not submit your form in time.
Optional helicopter transportation to/from the airport is available at an additional cost.
Is there internet/wifi in my villa and on the resort?
Most all villas have Wifi for a cost. It can be purchased from the resort front desk upon check-in. Wifi is available for free at VIP World, VIP Tower, VIP Beach, NV Beach, and most all other VIP areas. However, the resort internet is very slow and unreliable. We recommend purchasing an overseas data plan from your cell phone carrier and using that instead.
Is there a refund policy?
There is no refund for no-shows or early departures, however if you cannot make your dates and notify us 60 days in advance, we will do our best to reschedule your trip for you. There is a $100 charge for each change made to the reservation. If we cannot provide you with the dates you request (non-holiday), we will issue a refund of 50% of the total trip.
We do offer trip protection as an add on though.
Am I guaranteed a 4, 5, or 6 bedroom villa?
We do guarantee 4, 5, or 6 bedroom villas. Should your size villa booked not be available for any reason, the resort will provide you with two 3 bedroom villas.
Is there laundry service?
The resort does offer laundry service and facilities throughout the resort, just not within your villa (should you be staying in a villa).
Are pets allowed?
No, the resort does not allow animals except for those assisting people with special needs.
Can I have alcohol delivered to my accommodation?
Yes, all reservations have a special menu to order from and can be picked up and brought to your accommodation. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for this service, but it is NOT an unlimited supply. The resort will let you know what is available when you place your request.
Does the resort accept credit cards and USD($)?
Yes, the resort does accept all major credit cards for All-Inclusive as well as any other resort activities. They also accept USD($), so no need to convert to Dominican Pesos.
What are the Check-In and Check-Out times for villas and suites?
Check-In time is 3pm and the Check-Out time is 11am. Remember, your unit may not be ready right at that time, so sit back, relax, and start enjoying your All-Inclusive with a drink or snack.
Do you need a passport?
Yes, a passport is required to visit the Dominican Republic. All guests regardless of age require a passport.
Do you require full payment upfront?
No, we do not require full payment to make your reservation. You can choose our 50% payment option, which will guarantee your reservation. With that option, the final 50% is due 30 days in advance of your travel dates for all non-holiday reservations and 60 days in advance for all holiday travel dates.
